What did you think of that hairstyle? I thought it was okay but I did prefer Mary with longer hair like in S3.

I have to admit, I liked it, and naturally she had to move with the times, and some of the costumes. dresses etc. the ladies wore in the twenties, were gorgeous. I loved Mary's comment at the fashion show, 'yummy'

She really suited the flapper look.

It must have been a real thrill working in the Downton costume department, I would have loved it for sure.

I would've loved to wear some of the dresses they wore on the show. Although I expect them to be a bit uncomfortable too.

I should imagine when they wore corsets in the years before the twenties, they were very uncomfortable
