I mean how is her hair color going to give away anything about the character and other storylines?

Though speaking of character and storylines I do wonder why her name changed from Meredith to Ashley. I wonder what the significance of that is.

I'm wondering about the name change too. Ashley is pretty different from Meredith.

It really is. And why change the name? I don't see the point. Unless Ashley will be the Meredith type character but maybe they also give her more to do or something. But even then don't see why a name change happened. She could have been Meredith and they gave her more to do or changed her some. It's not unheard of for characters to be somewhat different than their book counterparts.

I'm with you. This could be it. Maybe there'll be some more changes from the book for the show for whatever the reason.

Yeah maybe there are some bigger changes and they felt a name change for the character would be more beneficial. Still don't see why but eh.

Hopefully we start getting more info on her character. Especially with the name change.

It would! I really wish we could know already how many episodes Madison will be in and how much involvement her character has. Though even if not much based on that audition we saw of that one girl Ashley and Amy should get at least one scene together. Unless that scene doesn't make it.
