The Wrecking Ball star has now fuelled speculation about her relationship status after she was pictured arriving at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York over the weekend (16-17Jan16) wearing a sparkling diamond ring on her wedding finger.
Miley has yet to comment on the engagement rumours, but she posted a snap of herself on Instagram.com on Monday (18Jan16) in which she is holding her left hand to her chest with the large ring clearly in view.
Liam recently opened up about his relationship woes during an interview with Men's Fitness magazine, declaring "Dating's really difficult" due to his gruelling work schedule.
"I'm constantly travelling, and I don't go out to clubs or anything like that. I have a great small group of friends in my life, but I barely ever meet anyone new," he explained. "It's tough to have a relationship in this industry, though not to the point where it makes me depressed. I'm constantly working, and I love working. I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything at this point - I feel like I'm focusing on the right things and prioritising things in the right way, and I'm a healthy, happy person."
He also spoke about his love for Miley, adding, "You fall in love with who you fall in love with. You can never choose. I guess some people just come with a little more baggage... We were together five (sic) years. So I don't think those feelings will ever change. And that's good because that proves to me that it was real. It wasn't just a fling. It really was an important part of my life and always will be."

On Monday morning, Cyrus posted an Instagram photo to ostensibly show off her unflattering outfit, which she said made her look like a “*****ing strawberry.” But unmistakable on her left ring finger was a diamond ring. And the bauble bears striking resemblance to the one Hemsworth proposed with back in 2012 (see below).
Cyrus was also wearing the same ring when photographed at JFK airport in New York on Sunday. Gossip Cop has reached out to a rep for the singer to find out if it is indeed her old engagement ring, and if her status with Hemsworth has officially changed. As previously reported, the former couple split in 2013, but began spending time together again earlier this month.
Neither star has publicly commented on whether they’re back together. Last fall, however, Hemsworth spoke highly of Cyrus in his Men’s Fitness cover story. “We were together five years, so I don’t think those feelings will ever change,” he told the magazine. “And that’s good because that proves to me that it was real. It wasn’t just a fling. It really was an important part of my life and always will be.”

Now images appearing to show Miley and some pals unloading her belongings into Liam's Malibu, California pad from a removal truck on Saturday (16Jan16) have been obtained by TMZ.com, further suggesting the couple is planning a future together once again.
Sources tell TMZ the weekend move marked the end of a week-long process for 23-year-old Miley.
The stars have yet to comment on the reunion rumours, but Miley made no attempt to hide her ring when she posted a photo of herself holding her left hand to her chest on Instagram on Monday morning (18Jan16).
The couple met in 2009 on the set of the movie The Last Song, and Liam, who popped the question in June, 2012, recently admitted he will always love Miley.

After sporting the diamond band at JFK airport in N.Y.C. on Sunday, Cyrus, 23, shared a selfie prominently featuring the ring.
In the new image, posted to the "We Can't Stop" singer's Instagram account on Monday, Cyrus wore a green and pink polkadot getup and rested her left hand on her chest.
In addition to the psychedelic jewelry adorning her pointer finger, Cyrus donned the large diamond on her left ring finger.

When Cyrus and Hemsworth were engaged in May 2012, the Hunger Games star used a 3.5-carat cushion-cut diamond ring, handcrafted in 18-karat gold with carved diamond floral motifs in an art nouveau pattern to pop the question.
While the couple split in September 2013, they've been increasingly friendly as of late.
Spotted hanging out together in Australia at the Falls Music Festival in Byron Bay, an onlooker told PEOPLE that Hemsworth was "really protective" of Cyrus. "He would just pull her close to him and put his arm around her."
Another source close to Cyrus told PEOPLE that "Miley never got over Liam."
"Despite them constantly fighting before the split, Miley always said Liam is the love of her life," the insider added, explaining, "It seemed she was always hoping and dreaming that they one day could get back together again."
Reps for Cyrus and Hemsworth did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Since meeting up again, “they've been talking for a while, and now they're seeing each other again. They are seeing where it goes before officially getting back together.”
