Daring Kelly Brook does the splits (and treats Craig Revel-Horwood to a kiss) as Stricktly Come Dancing tour kicks off

Her dancing is probably a little rusty after spending the last few months performing on stage in Calendar Girls.

But Kelly Brook stole the show last night as the Strictly Come Dancing tour got off to a stunning start in Manchester.

The model-turned-actress, 30, looked in great shape and full of energy as she was put through her paces for the tour's opening night.

Taking the stage in an eye-catching red leotard with frills, Kelly dazzled both the judges and the crowd with a daring routine.

After the judges gave their verdict on her performance. Kelly raced over to Craig Revel-Horford to give him a playful kiss on the cheek.

Kelly had pulled out of the show in 2007 after her father died and the series was eventually won by Alesha Dixon, who went on to replace Arlene Phillips on the judging panel.

The line up for the tour includes eight stars from the show past and present.

Five contestants from the most recent series are takling part, headed up by winner Chris Hollins along with Natalie Cassidy, Ricky Groves, Ali Bastian and Zoe Lucker.

Kelly makes a comeback along with 2008 competitot Austin Heatley and 2006 winner, cricketer Mark Ramprakash.

And fans of the original judging line-up will be pleased, with Arlene Phillips making her return to the panel alongside Len Goodman, Craig Revel Hornwood and Bruno Tonioli.

New judge Alesha Dixon has not been signed to take part in the five-week long tour.

Kelly Brook waltzes on to Loose Women in a pair of Posh stilettos... but confesses she struggles to walk in them

Victoria Beckham may well be suffering from bunions after years of wearing vertiginuous heels.

But kelly Brook hasn't succumbed to the condition yet- and yesterday she marched on to Loose Women in a pair of sky high stilettos to prove it.

The 30-year-old, currently starring in the Strictly Come Dancing tour which opened in London last night, drew gasps from the panel as she tottered on to the show in a pair of pink suede Christian Louboutin 'Maggie' heels.

The tottering £595 stilettos, which boast a 5 1/2 inch heel, are the same heels worn by Beckham to a Los Angeles basketball game in October, but a different colour.

Asked by panelist Sherrie Hewson if she had bunions like Mrs. Beckham's Kelly replied: 'No not yet. But I will do if I keep wearing shoes this high.'

But it seems the former Calendar Girls star is still to master the art of walking in them.

Telling the panel, which also included Kate Thornton, Jane McDonald and Lesley Garrett, about how her boyfriend Danny Cipriani bought her the heels, Kelly said: ''I don't think he realises how difficult it is for me to walk in them.'

She added: 'I think they are designed to make your bum look small and stop you running away from the boys. That's why they buy them for you.

The brunette also shared some banter with Thornton, one of the hosts of the Strictly tour, which is touring up and down the country.

Thornton praised Kelly for her dancing skills in opening the shows and complimented her on her derrier.

Kelly said' I would be part of Strictly forever. It is so much fun.'

Last night, Kelly showed off her dancing prowess when the Strictly Come Dancing tour came to London' Wembley Arena.

While Kelly was partnered with Brendan Cole when she appeared on the show in 2007, this time she is dancing with Matthew Cutler, who won the show the same year with Alesha Dixon.

As well as dancing Kelly keeps herself in shape with cycling and pilates.

She said: ' I look after my body. I like to go for a run, to get my blood pumping. I always feel energised after I've done some exercise.

'I like cycling and pilates, too. And you won't see me falling out of nightclubs in a sorry state.

'When you are in the spotlight, you can't get really drunk or make a fool of yourself, but then, I don't feel the need to be the centre of attention. I get enough of that anyway.'

Swap 'til you drop

The end of February it may be, but for most of us, the Christmas pinch is only just wearing off. For once, however, you can put your purse away - the Skinny Cow is launching a celebrity charity swap shop. Hosted by Kelly Brook, the Skinny Cow is hoping to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care by inviting celebrities - and you girls - along to swap your old clothes for something more exciting, without exchanging a penny.

The likes of Holly Willoughby and Sarah Harding will be joining Kelly Brook in donating their wears for fashion fans to get their hands on, with every item swapped by a celebrity seeing up to £1000 donated to the charity.

Two swap shops will be taking place in London and Manchester on March 20 and March 21 respectively, and for a chance to get involved, you'll need to befriend the Skinny Cow on Facebook, where 150 girls will be selected, along with a friend, to attend either the London or Manchester event. For those not attending the events, you can still join in. On March 26, a Facebook skinny dip will allow you to battle it out against fashionistas to win goodies from the comfort of your own sofa.

Kelly Brook goes back to her pin-up roots as she becomes the new face of Ultimo

Fourteen years after she started her career as a lingerie model, Kelly Brook is returning to her pin-up roots as the new sexy face and body of Ultimo.

Now a mature 30-year-old, brook shows she's still got the killer body she firt flaunted as a teen in the sensual new ad campaign.

Brook's new role as the Ultimo girls sees her following in the footsteps of previous models Mel B., Helena Christensen, Rachel Hunter, Sarah Harding, & Melinda Messenger.

The Kent-raised actress' new position is her first high-profile modeling job since turning 30 last November.

Having been voted the Sexiest Woman in the World by FHM magazine it's now surprise her hour-glass figure has been chosen forthe new Ultimo Spring Campaign.

Kelly: Piranha is big, fun, B-movie

Kelly Brook has joked that she won't be picking up an Academy Award for her next film, Piranha 3-D.

The Strictly Come Dancing star will play Danni Arslow in the 3-D remake of the original horror film, released this summer, alongside Elisabeth Shue, Richard Dreyfuss and Jerry O'Connell.

''It's just a big, fun B-movie, lots of boobs, blood, gore and drama - I don't think I'll be getting any Oscars for it,'' she said.

''In Piranha, there's lots of cool people. It's about a lot of fish that eat a lot of buff boys and big-boobied girls. It's all set during spring break.''

Kelly denied she plans to move to Hollywood but revealed she would like to appear on the big screen more.

''No, but I'd love to do more films. I really enjoy it. I love working in Los Angeles, and I like working on films,'' she said.

She revealed she was picked up for the part by director Alexander Aja - while she was eating.

''I was sitting in a restaurant and the director came up and said, ''I think you'll be right for this movie I'm doing,'' and then when I read the script, I thought, ''Oh yeah, thanks, it's not really a compliment,'' Kelly added.

Kelly Brook is schedule to be on the June 2010 cover of FHM. That issue should be at retailers this month. It's the first time since 2005 she'll be on the cover of FHM. I saw the trailer and no sign of her but it looks like a fun/blood and gore filled time at the theaters.

I have never seen a bad picture of Kelly. She is simply a head turner.

Kelly Brook on the lookout for Walton's best spec-wear

Actress and model Kelly Brook is eying up ordinary Walton residents who look extraordinary in their glasses, in a bid to find Specsavers' Spectacle Wearer of the Year 2010.

The competition is open to all aged 16 and over, with proceeds going towards anti-bullying charity, Kidscape.

The Winner will scoop a top modeling contract with Storm agency, an all-inclusive holiday in Barbados or St. Lucia, spending money, a makeover with celebrity hairdresser Andrew Barton, a year's supply of skincare, a goody bag, a £150 Specsavers eyecare voucher and the Spectacle Wearer of the Year Trophy.

Walton Specsavers store director, Mital Patel, said: ''We see so many people in the store who look absolutely amazing in their glasses. The Spectacle Wearer of the Year competition gives us the opportunity to shout about the talent right on our doorstep.''

The closing date is Saturday, July 31st for entries.

monstersandcritics.com has announced that Kelly Brook is scheduled for a cameo in the T.V. show ''Skins''.She will be playing a Fitness Instructor named ''Jemima''. She filmed it this week & is scheduled to be on E4 in January. Skins is a funny show. I've seen some it on DVD. Not all though. Piranha 3D is of course almost in theaters & here's a recent quote from Kelly about it from the Daily Mail ''If people want to cast me in roles for my body or how I look, I'm just going to embrace that, because that's not going to be the case forever.'' ''It doesn't make me any less important than anyone else in the movie just because I'm in a bikini. That's just the role I play. It's as much a part of the story as the piranhas and everything else.''

I'm just glad she gets to be in this movie.
