Colin Firth Appreciation #1...Because Who Doesn't Love Mark Darcy?!
I wanted to add a thread about Colin b/c he's a great actor and so sexy it's scary! If you've seen the BBC version of "Pride and Prejudice" or "Bridget Jones' Diary" you know him as Mr. Darcy or Mark Darcy and he's also in the new movie "Love Actually" as Jamie. Come on...lets show our love!!

YaY! So happy that I'm the first one to post in the CF thread! He's been my favorite actor since I fist layed eyes on him in Pride and Prejudice. No one can play Mr. Darcy better than him.

I Love Colin Firth!!!!! I'm so glad there's a thread for him! I want to see his new film Love Actually! It looks really good. I think his best role to date would have to be Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice

Does anyone remember him in Shakespeare in Love as Lord Wessex? He was so incredibly sexy as the villian [img]smilies/drool.gif[/img] Also in Bridget Jones' Diary, I wonder what the plot's gonna be like in that movie, since Bridget's gotten all she's every wanted! [img]smilies/sigh.gif[/img]

I remember him in Shakespeare in Love! He's so gorgeous and classy, and ahhhh I just fall in love with him in every movie. Loved Love Actually, Bridget Jones' Diary, and Pride and Prejudice. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

I so love Colin Firth. He's got another movie coming out with Scarlet Johannsen(sp?)--from Lost in Translation. Now I can't remember the name of the movie...
He was great in The Importance of Being Earnest, too. He's great in everything! __________________

My mum and I went and saw What A Girl Wants at the cinema when it came out earlier this year just to drool over him (and surprisingly I really enjoyed the DVD) I haven't seen Pride and Prejudice **gasp** I know that is criminal! |

I loved him in Bridget Jones! I so wished i was renee in that film! Lucky gal gets all the best roles!
He was aslo in a film called Hope Springs. I wanted to see that. Does anyone know when the DVD release date for that is? __________________

I am a big fan of Colin Firth! I absolutely fell head over heels for him in Bridget Jones's Diary. I can't wait to see him in Love Actually. It isn't playing at my local theater yet, but as soon as it opens, I'm going. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]
