He is known for originating the roles of Gabe in Next to Normal and Frank Abagnale, Jr. in Catch Me If You Can. You're welcome! :) I didn't know he was even in it until I saw it! :lol: I knew who he was right away because I had seen him on Gossip Girl and knew he was a singer, so it wasn't a surprise to see him in the movie! He was wonderful as Enjolras! My aunt said he was cuter than the guy who played Marius! :lol:

I've been a fan of Aaron's since I saw a few clips of him in Wicked. He was brilliant in Next to Normal as well. Definitely one of my favourite Broadway actors, after Adam Pascal :P. Then NPH cast him as Roger in RENT at the Hollywood Bowl and I thought I was going to die. :lol: Like he looked really hot. Lol. I'm legit obsessed with Les Mis right now, I've always loved the musical but aksjdh this movie. :thud: I didn't even know he was in it, so imagine my surprise when he showed up as Enjolras of all people :bawl:. He's knocked off Ramin Karimloo for the top spot as my fave Enjolras. :P Thanks for making this thread! The only other place to talk about him here was the Theatre board but it closed and I haven't been much of a GG fan for a long long time, lol. |

I'm pretty sure I first saw Aaron in GG, but had no idea who he was. Then, I was watching the Tony Awards and there was this hot guy singing who looked familiar and through IMDb & Wikipedia, I came to find out it was Aaron! :P Fast forward a couple of years later and I'm watching a promo for USA's new show "Graceland" and I see a familiar face. IMDb does wonders, let me tell you. :lol: Of course, it was Aaron! Then, watching Les Mis, I recognized him immediately! :lol: I decided to start a thread for him because he's done so much and with "Graceland" premiering this summer, he might get some more attention! :D I hope so because he's too hot to resist! :lol: And random fact: he is exactly 3 days older than me! :blush: |

Oh yeah, his Tony performance with Rizzo from Grease? :lol: Shame he's been totally SNUBBED for the Tonys when the rest of his Next to Normal cast was nominated. :bawl: His day will come, I'm sure. Oh the Tonys performance was Next to Normal songs (and Pal Joey), the lady he performed with played Rizzo in the Grease movie, is what I meant. :lol: I thought the same thing, lol. I'm like "Graceland like Elvis..?" :lol: But I think I read somewhere that it had something to do with the house being seized from a guy who was a big Elvis fan who named it Graceland. :P But lord, if he ever sings on that show -- or any show -- I'm so there. Yeah USA definitely has some great shows as of late. I'll have to see if they play it here in Canada, hopefully a sister channel plays it like they do Suits.

I will check out that CMIYC one! :P And I never even knew the character's name until after the movie and my aunt was talking about it and how she thought Enjolras was cuter than Marius! :blush: I had to keep asking her how to pronounce it. :lol: She was pretty close.
