some good parts to episode, but overall i wasnt a fan. usually i enjoy the episodes but this one wasnt that great. hopefully they get better as the series unfortunately concluds.

ok so if you want my opinion on the episode just imagine me bouncing up and down on my bed squealing like some whale or something (my throat is actually sore) when Justing and Austin Kissed!!!!!!!!!!! haaaaaaaaaaaa
My mother's boyfriend actually ran into my room because he thought something bad was happening to me and that my screams were screams of pain
I haven't been this excited about a story line since Carol Joined Doug in Seattle on ER

That scene and the one where Justin heard his mom talking to Betty about how it's OK to be who you are were the best scenes of the episode no doubt about it. i'm expecting Justin to tell his family by episode 19 tops (well that's a no brainer the show ends on episode 20
I am so looking forward to the rest of this story-line.


Next episode the braces are being taken off.


now the scene with Daniel and Amanda ok i'll admit when she let him in I was super disappointed but then i saw the message from tyler and I realized this story is so going to blow up in her face big time (If a Datty romance would happen I am now sure that this is gonna be the story line to push it). Amanda thinks she's changed but she really hasn't. which is actually really sad cause I do like her and she does reminds me alot of myself except that she's taller, has a killer body and blonde hair (and she's stupider then I am)

and I didn't expect Wilhelmina epiphany to be what it was, though maybe i should have seen it coming. but i am interested to see how it will effect everything including the ending...

Loved the all Marc Justin scene before they left for the show. not to mention Marc's speech. I wish they'll bring back Cliff Marc really needs him.

Everytime I watch Ugly Betty I always find myself hating ABC more and more for cancelling this show. Tonight the hatred for that network got so bad, because it doesn't make sense that a show where the storyline's are still so fresh and so well executed is being cancelled for what is most likely a new 'reality' show that will probably take it's place.

I have seen so many show's get to it's fourth season and get so stale it hurt's to watch, but I am beyond confused as to why this show is being cancelled. Is it because of the fact it nearly reached 100 episodes and ABC didn't want to have to pay out on syndication rights? It's bugging me!

Back to the episode;

This like the entire season, was an excellent episode on so many levels, but I will join the first two posters in saying YIPPEEE! to the Justin/Austin scene. That for me was the highlight of the episode, and I think it was because we as fans have been waiting for something like this to happen to Justin that when the reality actually happened it was like I was in the characters mind. Everything else didn't matter. BTW I loved the use of the coloured glass in that scene, it had a great effect in relating to what Marc had said to Justin earlier in the episode about everything else not mattering.

The scene where Justin sat on the stairs listening to Hilda and Betty was also another favourite moment for me; and I hope that the writers have him at least come out before the shows end.

The Wilhemina story did nothing for me tonight, which is odd because she is one of my favourite characters. Her epiphany is not new, it's a season two storyline just with more confidence. So there's not much to say there; actually this can cover the Daniel/Amanda/Tyler storyline as well because I just want Amanda and Daniel together.

I really loved the Betty story tonight with the playwright and I really was rooting for them together but I loved it when she punched him at the end. GO BETTY! I'm glad they set up the storyline for the next episode with her taking her braces off because it definitely feels like a pivotal storyline and shouldn't just be done in one episode so yes, i'm glad they started this off now.

I don't know if I missed characters or anything, even though I did notice Ignacio wasn't there, I loved Hilda and the engagement ring at the beginning when she was trying to figure out ways to show it off. That was HILARIOUS.

I can't believe we only have four more episodes left of this amazing show!

BTW DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE NAME OF THE SONG WAS THAT PLAYED WHEN JUSTIN&&AUSTIN KISSED?

Aaron Tveit did not look that hot on Gossip Girl, lol. I adored him. I think I was also going to seriously ship him and Betty but though.

First and foremost: Justin's got himself a boooooyfriiieeeend! I don't know how I expected his first kiss to be (and not to the girl) but it was definitely surprising when it happened. (Though I wish they both didn't have to kiss that Lily girl to realize it. I dunno. It was a weird storyline. Maybe Austin wanted to get Justin jealous or get back at him for the stage kiss or something? That part I didn't get.) But hopefully they'll bring him back to explain. (I swear if Austin is gone forever I'll be really upset).

If you can't tell, I really liked this episode much more than the previous one. Though I don't know what it says about me that Justin's kiss was way better than the kiss Betty had with that playwright. Sure he was a hot guy but I guess I didn't see much chemistry between them and I was a little wary about him telling Betty that all the models he dated were just for show and he was *really* interested in her but it would have to be secret for a while. While part of me wants to say this romantic interlude was useless, another part reminds me that it led to the beautiful heartbreaking scene between Betty and Hilda in which Betty still feels like the ugly duckling who will always be the "dirty little secret". The fact that Justin heard his mom talking about accepting people for who they were was just perfection.

Oh, and that punch Betty threw at Mr. Spontaneous Playwright was also a good outcome. (It was almost as great as the punch Daniel landed on Matt in the beginning of this season. )

Speaking of Daniel, he mentioned Alexis! (Yay!) And he and Amanda had some good scenes. I don't quite remember if he had much of a storyline in the episode besides being gloomy with a brief moment of joking with Betty about her dating that dude. But anyway, I hope Daniel and his mom make up soon. And the writers need to stop heaping so much unhappiness on him. (I guess this lighter shock and aww is better than the cult-driven widow angst from earlier.)

Wilhelmina shocked me almost as much as Justin and his cute boyfriend when she revealed her epiphany. Seriously? She's been growing and maturing and actual acting like a human being with feelings but a hospital stay and some grim words inspires her to be evil again!? What the hell, writers? We've got less than 5 episodes and if she wants to own Meade, I can only see this as ending badly for her. (One step forward, two steps back. Argh. )

But Marc, thank goodness, still seems to be growing away from evil little lapdog. He's a full out romantic judging by that kiss story he told Justin. All the world goes gray indeed. I'm almost sorry that he doesn't seem to have his own love. But he does have Amanda which is just as good. Their scenes together are, as usual, the fun lightness that rounds out heavy emotional scenes. I particularly liked when Wilhelmina freaked them out when she was going to sleep. (Marc knowing that Wilhelmina does that after conking out? And Amanda peeing a little? Priceless.)

So that's about it. Great episode, some love-related crushing and some heartbreak-related crushing (and I do believe a possible mild triangle with Amanda and the brothers. Or at the very least more reason for Daniel to despise the younger, half-brother model.)

Next episode is when the braces are coming off and I just can't wait!
