I kind of liked this episode. It wasn't what I expected, in the sense that it was more sad than funny.
The scene with Willie and Betty at the end was really good. I think V. W. showed a lot of raw emotion while still being true to her character. I haven't decided yet whether or not I pissed off at Connor... ok I'm pissed. Their relationship has now turned into a roller coaster ride that I'm contemplating pushing him of off. Matt's exit made sense. I'm glad the writers didn't turn it into some crazy plot where he cheats on her with Amanda or something. Their last scene together was touching. I'm not even a Metty fan, but I was still like "Wait don't go," for about a second. I liked the twist they did with Marc's real reason for making all those mistakes. I'm starting to like Marc and Daniel working together, but I still believe that he belongs with Willie. I'm glad to see that Betty is living on her own again. I just thought it was weird that there wasn't a scene with her talking to her family about this. Overall good episode. |

First, even if I did not thing Betty/Matt was the best Ugly Betty pairing written on the show, I would love that goodbyes scene. It was perfect and they used a New Pornographers' song - "Adventures in Solitude"!
I don think there is a Betty/Matt thread here (  ) but if someone else wants to join me I'll start one calling it "Adventures in Solitude".I really enjoyed the Marc/Daniel story, light as it was. It was a good place to see Daniel too. Hilda/Bobby/Justin was okay. Ace of Bace- I don't know what order to put my exclamation points and question marks.  I liked the way the Willie/Connor story moved this week, and I liked the call back to after Betty's roof party for Jesse. It just did not go with the plot that Willehina would tell Betty about Connor as Betty was not in on the conspiricy to buy back Meade.  __________________

I missed the first half but from what I saw of the second half I enjoyed the ep
I felt bad for Betty letting Matt go like that couldn't have been easy and yay for her and Amanda sharing an apartment again the stuff with Bobby and Hilda was sweet and BOY did I feel old when they mentioned Ace of Base oh and I liked the Daniel and Marc stuff __________________

yeah not the greatest episode. i'm glad matt/betty was over and was glad to see that amanda perked up a bit at hearing the news.

Stupid computer getting a stupid virus keeping me from saying HOLYCRAPOMG Wilhelmina and Daniel kissing in the elevator!?!?!
 That was in the preview for the next episode but it was shocking enough to take precedent over everything else in the episode. As for the episode with Betty's worst week, geez how sad. I have to admit that even though I don't like Matt, their parting scene in the end was done very well. Go help the poor Africans Matt! And try not to come back too soon!  I have to applaud Marc on trying to get Daniel to shave that beard. (Even if the previews shows Daniel still stubbly) And Bobby gets my grudging respect for helping Hilda with a sick Justin. Continuity also got my nod of approval as they gave Amanda an actual reason to be flaky about the rent and not telling Betty.  Overall a better episode than last week but still not in my top 5.By the way... Wili and Danny kissing next week!?!?! Why oh why!?!?  __________________

So is Matt gone for good ? After all that they just .... let him go like that ? Not too happy about it, especially if they get her a new love interest now. I was really beginning to like them.
I'm so glad we got to see Marc's true reasons, throughout the whole episode I was all bummed that Marc was sabotaging Daniel. I love their interactions hehe. And awwww Willie  __________________
