I want Hilda to have happiness. She had so many breakups.

So I've read a spoiler about a possible wedding coming up in the series finale. (I know, I know, I'm usually a spoiler-phobe but I've always had a soft spot for this show and it made me do things I haven't done before.) So anyway...

Great news for Ana. It doesn't really sound like my kind of show, though.

Ana's new show sounds like it would appeal to me more than Ashley Jensen's (Christina) sitcom. But then again it might feel too weird considering the guy playing Bobby is on a forensics procedural and now "Hilda" is gonna be on a detective procedural?

I'm just sick of procedurals. It's sad that unique, amazing shows like UB are canceled, but the procedurals keep on and on.

Glad that she has a new show, but I'm not much into crime dramas

Ana has a new show too? Wow, the UB stars are getting snapped up pretty quickly, haha. Good for her!

I loved that! I had no idea she was going to have the prosthetics or anything, it was really funny seeing her so differently. But she lacked the confidence she usually has, it was also kinda sad.

Yeah, especially with the "who's Justin" thing.

I guess procedurals are easier to make. When you tune in, you don't need to have any prior knowledge because ongoing story-arcs are sparse (and easily explained when they do pop up). Shows like UB, which is originally based on a telenovela, has so many ongoing plot points and stories that people would feel lost if they jumped into it mid-way.

Honestly, after being sucked into CSI I've come to the conclusion that most procedurals follow the following formula: a dead body is found, some cool-looking investigation begins, a detective rattles off a few snarky one-liners, perps get interviewed, more flashy/gritty police work (whether a sceince montage or a good old fashioned chase scene), there's a red herring or two, and then the crime is solved.

Oh, also, they might put one of the main characters in danger during sweeps/finales.

Spoiler:

Meanwhile, in the most recent episode of UB: Hilda in a fat suit? I did not see that coming. Pretty interesting to see Hilda play the "ugly" sister. Not sure I quite believed it but then again it's probably because I'm so used to flashy, sexy, kinda ghetto Queens princess thing.
