Yeah, in control of everything but himself.

I was alright with who Rebel turned out to be... only reason I would have loved it being Peter was for my Paire shippper side.

Overpowered Peter was okay during season 1, it was just that the writers wanted to write him OOC in season 3 to find an excuse to strip him of that.
