New Rules On The Board (IMPORTANT: READ AND RESPOND)

Due to issues we’ve been having on the board recently, we’re adopting a new method to dealing with problems that may occur on the board. We believe it’s a necessary thing to do, especially as the new season is coming up and we want everyone to be able to enjoy themselves here.

As a result, we’re adopting the three strike system on our board. This means every time a thread breaks one of the rules of the board, a strike is issued that lasts 6 months. If a thread gets 3 strikes, then it is closed for 24 hours. Strikes will be issued by the consensus of the moderators. Once the second strike has been issued, the moderators will consult with the Moderator Managers about a possible temporary thread closure.

The following actions will result in a strike being issued:

• Bashing of ships/characters/actors in a thread.
• Off-topic talk. (*)
• Disrespecting moderators and/or other posters in a thread.

(*) On the matter of off-topic talk, we do realise that, from time to time, there will be a lull in a thread because lack of the character/ship on-screen or because of a hiatus. However, if you want to talk extensively about something we ask you to use the Off-Topic thread or take it to PM. Thanks.

Can we talk about fic's connected to the shipping couple? I mean discuss them - not bashing it.

Yes, fic-talk is definately allowed, mixed in with general discussion, of course. Fics add to shipping discussions about the characters :)

But, extensive talk over fic might be better being discussed here 'cause some posters may not know some fics enough to discuss them and that's what that thread is there for.

I'm talking about the fics for the in general Ellie. Like posting spoilers from that fic and stuff. When you have fic and you want to post spoiler about it. You can do that, right? Plus, you can talk about that fic if is connected with that couple?

Yep :nod: As long as it's a fic concerned with the ship/character, spoilers from it are fine to post.
