Because Alex thought Pocahontas was the last old school Disney animated movie that was well received. But it wasn't because Tarzan came out after Pocahontas, and the RT score showed Tarzan was more well received than Pocahontas. Plus Phil Collins did the soundtrack. One of my favorites songs from the soundtrack was Son of Man.

What?! Disney's Tarzan is like one of the best movies I ever seen. For ranking Disney movies I rank it next to Lion King.

Hi, DargonKing! Welcome to the Heroes board! I'm Alex! It's nice to meet you!

Thanks for the new thread and the great OP, Lauren.

Well, I kinda forgot about Tarzan, dragonfire. The last old school Disney film I saw before they joined with Pixar and went CGI was Aladdin.

Hi, Greg! Oh man, you typed the wrong username? I don't know if you can fix that or not. You can try asking the moderator managers to see if they'll let you fix that. I could ask for you if you'd like.

Have you been a fan of Heroes long? I'm glad to see there are still fans out there. I hope you'll be able to introduce yourself to our moderators on this board. Lauren and Sam are really nice. And if you'd like to introduce yourself on our intro thread that would be great.

I just spoke to Mod Management and they fixed your username, Greg. I hope that helps!

It's ok I think Tarzan came out in 99. I know Aladdin came out in 92. If I remember correctly The Little Mermaid came out in 89, Beauty&the Beast came out in 91, Aladdin came out in 92, and finally my favorite one The Lion King which came out in 94. Plus 1994 is a special year for me.

Damn, I forgot The Lion King as well. I did see that one. I think that was the last Disney old school feature I saw before the CGI stuff.

What happened in 1994, dragonfire? I remember that was the year that Speed and True Lies came out, which were my two favorite action movies that year. Forrest Gump and Pulp Fiction also came out that year. The X-Files and Friends were my favorite TV shows, and on my birthday on June 17th, 1994, O.J. Simpson had to ruin my birthday forever with that stupid Ford Bronco chase. My mom, sister, my sister's friend, and I were all eating birthday cake, I go into the living room to watch TV, and there's O.J. being chased by police.

Awww, that's so cute! Thanks for that link, Lauren! I wanna go live in Australia now and have a pet koala! Too bad you all drive on the left.

Yep, I figured I'd help Greg out.

I love Aladdin and The Lion King too, Lauren. but Anastasia isn't Disney, Lauren. 20th Century Fox did that one.

What?! It's one thing to forget about Tarzan, but how could you forget about The Lion King. Well if you really want to know, I was born in 94.
