I hate the Disney bought Lucasfilm, Marvel, and 20th Century Fox. :(

The only Star Wars novel I ever read was Splinter of the Mind's Eye. It was a Luke/Leia adventure that was published right after the original Star Wars came out. It was briefly considered for a potential sequel to the original Star Wars before Lucas began work on The Empire Strikes Back. I never got a chance to read any of the others. I did like the Marvel Comics Star Wars series, though.

Oh, yeah... Mara Jade Skywalker, the greatest non-canonical Star Wars character ever. :lol: She doesn't exist in the movies, sadly.

actually Mara does exist in Return of the Jedi... most all speculate that she was one of Jabba Hutt guards in disguise in RofJ...first half hour

Well, George Lucas said that Mara Jade doesn't exist in his Star Wars canon because he didn't create her. :shrug:

You're welcome. :) Yeah, I was disappointed when Lucas said that. :( A lot of people think that he has some affinity for all of the Star Wars novels and comics, but he actually doesn't care about them.

Oh, and I got my vacation time approved for January. It'll be the weeks of the NFL Divisional games and the Championship games.
