Rant: Phillies lost last night after being up 3-1 in the 9th inning.
 Aaron Nola helped himself out by getting a leadoff double and then being driven home on a bases loaded Hit By Pitch, making it 2-1. Then another HBP made it 3-1, but Girardi elected to let Nola finish the game instead of sending out Ian Kennedy to close the game. Nola had two outs in the 9th and then gave up a two run home run to tie the game 3-3 and send it into extra innings.  Phillies lost 4-3 in the 10th because they couldn't score again. They're now 5.5 games behind the first place Braves. They just can't hit at all since their 8 game winning streak. Rave: Browns beat the Giants, 17-13.  Rant: NFL Network once again blacked out the game in my area. My onscreen TV guide said the Giants-Browns game was on, but NFL Network in my area aired a repeat of the Buccaneers-Titans game instead. I'm guessing that just like the Jets-Packers game yesterday, any game with a New York team is gonna get blacked out in my area, even though I'm in Philadelphia. They didn't black out the Washington-Bengals game, or the Bills-Bears game, but they blacked out New York.  So I guess it's not all East Coast teams, just New York City's teams, although I'm not sure why. Philly isn't that close to NYC.__________________

Rant- same....no Browns on nfl network...I could have watched it locally, but needed to catch up on new church services b/c SummerSlam was on all evening...plus I had to watch the last hour 1/2 of SummerSlam today because it went long past after I went to bed
Rant- anyway it was All back up players anyway.... |

rave...plus we did a movie this month on the Borgais for situations like this...power outage and health problems also let me know if you are going to watch NFL...if not.... I may watch LoT... hope you see this soon |
