Yes, they retconned it. It wasn't like Newhart more like some stuff that happened, in reality, she changed in her book. Example in S9 finale it revealed Darleene was with David, and Becky was with Mark in the book, but in reality, it was the other way around the whole time.

Thankfully they retconned that and just had Darleene/Mark, and Becky/David in the book.

Yes, I liked it. Especially Larry, Daryl, and Daryl. They would be pissed off. Especially if it revealed Bughead was never together.

Oh, instead of Alice/Betty I got a new Dupont theory. What if the person who is behind all the tapes is related to Dupont and it's the new principal Mr. Honey? Like he's secretly Dupont's Grandson.

I mean they do look/dress/act similar, also in 4x04 Honey appeared, the tapes appeared, 4x05-4x07 no Honey, no tapes, 4x08 Honey returned, the tapes returned, and just like Dupont Honey has been causing problems for the Jones/Smith/Cooper family as well.

Plus with Honey as secretly Dupont's Grandson it would be an interesting comparison to Jughead as GPJ's Grandson.

Dragonfire...who do you want to play Skeletor in Live action? I thought Frank Langella did a great job in the late 80s movie... Courtney Cox was in that movie too

I don't know but I do believe Skeletor will be the one to steal the show in the live-action movie. Same here. Langella's Skeletor stole the show in the 80s movie. Yep, she was.
