Countdown... because we have time to kill!
This is a silly little thing we used to do with Alias, so I thought I'd try to start it up here.
WHAT YOU DO: Generally, a post in the Countdown thread involves a little scripted adventure. Pretty much anything goes in these adventures. Common themes in Countdowns past have been jello fights, cabana boys, time machines, and tiaras, but these are not necessary. At the end of each post you have to countdown to the next episode, but since we don't know when that is, you can just countdown to something else, or just say "a really freakin long time" or something. I hope this catches on, I miss it big time!! Alias CDC(countdown crew): Guys, Lindsey is starting a countdown without us. Me: That's because none of you losers watch Heroes. Alias CDC: *sniffle* Me: Lord, it's empty in here. I should probably order some pizza, then I might be more popular. Sylar: Did I hear something about pizza? Me: AAAAAAAAAHHH!!! Announcer: Will Lindsey remain alone in her newly created Countdown? Will Sylar kill Lindsey? Did Lindsey scream because she's terrified, or because she's very very turned on!?!? Find out next time!!! Forever until Heroes... 95 school days till I graduate... And so on. __________________

Basically, it's shameless wish fulfillment. And it works better with a lot of people. It's just scripting out really random adventures. When you get the right amounts of insanity, creativity, and boredom, it can turn out hillarious.
