Well, originally they were going to have it, there's even an episode from S2 that was a tease to her show with Jughead, and Archie going to her town Greendale.

But after what RAS did with S2A, the CW ended up passing on the Sabrina show, and so I think he sent it to Netflix who picked it up.

To be honest I don't really blame the CW for passing on it because that take on Sabrina was like crossing the line, turning Sabrina into something she's not, etc. etc.

I don't mind dark but that was too much dark especially for Sabrina.

To be fair Smallville Clark wasn't Superman yet. More like when Superman Returns failed, Clois got the green light on Smallville, and I think Lois at the Daily Planet, etc. etc. as well.

They did that with Clois after Superman Returns failed.

Hey Dave! I remember you. I'm just not on as much as I used to be.

I was only in over night thank God. My oxygen was too low. I didn't even knew I had it. Thought it was just a viral infection. Or the stomach bug. I was sick for over a week.

but I am doing much better now. I had the start of peumoniea. They sent me home with steroids. I'm back to doing my normal farm chores now.

I think I scared alex when I told him I had it. Feel bad I did. My BP was high along with the low oxygen. And I guess I could've died.

I think my Momma was with me.

Wait, so was it the way Riverdale S2 turned out that made CW pass on it, or was it the way RAS wrote Sabrina that turned them off? Well, yeah, that show did make Sabrina something she's not, but I wonder if that would've happened if it had been a CW show and not a Netflix show.

I don't know, dragonfire, I sometimes thought that Smallville played it too fast and loose with how they adapted the DC mythology. All the Kryptonite stuff is an example.

Well, I think that maybe if the CW didn't passed on it then I imagine she probably would had guest starred on Riverdale to set up her spin-off similar to what they did with Barry.

I actually wonder if maybe the CW was thinking Sabrina could be the next The Flash, their Harry Potter, etc. etc. but after they found out what he wanted to do they passed on it?

Yep, I actually liked the tease shame I couldn't like the show itself.

I think maybe it could've been a bit of both.

Yep, and good question. Actually I think no, or at least the CW would've only let him do so much without crossing the line.

I actually believe a new reboot Sabrina show could work on either the CW, HBO Max, Netflix, etc. etc. but one with a much better showrunner.

Something similar to Spider-Man mix with Smallville. You know the whole teen in high school with special powers who has to juggle two lives, and they just wish they could be normal like everyone else.
