There hasn't been much more discussion on what we should send in our Save FNL care packages so I'm going to take the bull by the horns (in honor of Texas) and say we send a large envelope or small package containing:

1. Clear Eyes-one bottle of Clear Eyes brand eye drops

2. Full Hearts-foam heart cutouts, make your own, buy them at a craft store or
orientaltrading.com; item # IN-12/4590; $3.95/400

3. Can't Lose our Friday Night Lights- written on a foam football, buy locally or
orientaltrading.com; item #IN-12/1130 $9.95/dozen or #IN-12/558 $9.95/dozen

4. Typed or handwritten, signed letter from you supporting FNL and asking that items be donated to charity. ie, Today's Toy Drive for footballs, Senior centers for eye drops

I would shoot for a March 1 arrival date to give us a couple weeks to spread the word and get stuff together. I've ordered from Oriental Trading resently and it takes less than a week to get your order.

I'm not sure about keeping a whole thread open for this though. We may merge this with the News/Media thread.

I'm going to get some input and we'll make a decision one way or the other about this thread.

Either way thanks for the info. I hope everyone will take part in some way. I know we all really want another season.

bethmerchant_76 No worries. I appreciate the info. and thread. Just wasn't sure whether to keep it as it's own thread or not. But, we have decided to keep the thread on it's own since the show needs help and it's nice to have one place to go to for all campaign info. We have changed the title to reflect that.

I got my Clear Eyes eyedrops and a Nerf football last night at Walgreens and spent about $8.50. I'm going to a craft store this weekend for the hearts. I'm printing my letter on bright yellow paper to enclose with it.

Anyone want to come up with a jpeg banner to post and download as a letterhead for our letters that says "Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can't Lose Our Friday Night Lights" ? I may be able to get something up at my LJ, but I can't post pictures here yet

YEAH !! It's been Topped !

If people don't want to send the whole package of stuff-send a football with Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can't Lose Our Friday Night Lights on it. My Nerf Football was only $4.00.

I just tried to print out a sticker to put on my football, FYI labels don't stick to footballs !
I had to resort to a permanent marker.
