The book goes back and forth between present and past. I am curious as how they will do that. A good way could be the different characters maybe recounting their memories. But we’ll see...

Annaud I think directed The Name of The Rose. I love that movie and its very complex one and he made it very understandable so I think he will surely do good with the show.
