Welcome to the Wentworth International Thread!

I figured there are so many foreign people here (I'm not even English myself) and so many languages, that's why I created this thread. It is about translating different sentences about Wentworth into another language. That way we all learn something extra and I hope we get closer together.

I will start with an easy sentence:
Wentworth has beautiful eyes.
German: Wentworth hat schoene Augen.
Italian: Wentworth ha degli occhi bellissimi.
Norwegian: Wentworth har vakre øyne.

Wentworth is a very good looking man.
Spanish: Wentworth es un hombre muy bello.
German: Went sieht sehr gut aus. / Wentworth ist ein sehr gutaussehender Mann.
Norwegian: Wentworth er en veldig kjekk mann.

Wentworth is very well educated.
Spanish: Wentworth es bien educado.
German: Went ist sehr gebildet.
Norwegian: Wentworth er veldig høyt utdannet.

Now somebody else has to either translate this sentence into yet another language than German or find another sentence they want to have translated. I will try and add all the new translations to the opening post so that we always are up-to-date.

That's an interesting idea.. Unfortunately I only know English and we've already bastardized that enough in the Wentyisms thead. So besides drooling over how fantastic other languages sound, I don't have much of value to add here.

Where do you want me to put this in the board guide? I was leaning toward the arts section because to me it's more about appreciating other languages, rather than Went himself [though the phrases are related to him..] but I can move it whereever.

Good idea.. I come form Norway..so ill translate those sentences into Norwegian..
