I'm an oldy too. But basically the old-school websites are all gone. And it's frustrating because for years I've been looking for this challenge fic that was written by a B/Aer during S3/S4 I think. She said she disliked S/B even though it was UC then and that's why it came out a lot darker than what she figured the person who challenged her would expect. I think the word sunshine was in the title? And um, it was a short fic where Buffy was in an abusive relationship with Spike. And there's this part where he's really nasty to her in front of Xander and Willow. And then there's this other part where they're having sex and she's crying. It's a one-shot where he basically treats her like Harmony. Ring any bells?

I'm been looking for this fic for years. I keep posting it incase someone remembers it.

I'm looking for a fic that has Angel being rescued from the ocean Spike seeing Buffy and Angel hugging and Spike stakes himself in front of them, Buffy is depressed and angel Tara telling Willow that Spike will come back.Spike stakes himself thinking that if he's dead Buffy and Angel can be together but Buffy doesn't love Angel she loves Spike, angelTara tells Willow that Spike will come back, Spike is brought back and he bumps into Clem who takes him to Buffy's house and he doesn't remember them, He see's Buffy sister and calls her Dawn instead of Nibblet and she's upset, Buffy is in her room depressed about Spike and Willow tells her it going to be ok, Spike starts to remember them.
Also there at a pier when Spike stakes himself after Angel is rescued.
