'A Penny for Your Thoughts' Posting Challenge! - In Support of Team Levi! ♥
Welcome to the 1st Annual A Penny For Your Thoughts Posting Challenge In Support of Team Levi!  For awhile now Faith and I have been trying to come up with a fun way to encourage posting on the Jensen board. I think we finally came up with one that will be fun for all. Not only does it help support the board but it will raise money for a wonderful cause that is very close to Jensen's heart! How Does it Work? For the whole month of October, for every post made here on the Jensen Ackles Board, we will donate a penny to Team Levi!  So if we make 2500 posts, we donate $25!but wait...there is more! As an added incentive to anybody who matches our donation, you will recieve your choice of a custom user title (for a month!) or a name change! Both are not very easy to come by on their own. Rules Yes we need rules. Just because this is for a wonderful cause doesn't mean we do not have to abide by  rules, so that means...No star posting! (no posts with just happy faces, or one word comments) We are not doing this just to raise money but to encourage more discussion on the Jensen board. Also No double posting! Yes, there are times when double posts happen, or a thread needs to be bumped, we understand that. But we do not want to see 15 double posts in a row, that is not a bump or an accident. And lastly No Off Topic chatter in discussion threads.and finally... HAVE FUN! There are two reasons why we are doing this, one of course is to raise money for Team Levi! ...the second is to encourage more posting! We hope this causes some newbies to drop in and decide to put the JA board on their 'must post at' list. You may not watch Supernatural, but that's okay because we have a thread for everything Jensen's been in, so whether that is SPN, Dark Angel or even Days...check the board guide, we got a thread for it! And for our regulars (who we love dearly!) you can use this as an excuse to drop into those threads you usually don't visit, who knows what kind of goodies you will find, maybe you'll even find your next favorite thread!Faith and I thank you for all the support for the JA board and for Team Levi! Many reasons actually. First it's the last full month before the Dallas Buddy Walk. Second it has 31 days! That's one extra day to post and raise more money! And Thirdly SPN IS BACK! What better time to gush about Uncle Jensen? I would love to match the board's donation, but the site only takes credit cards, what do I do now? Fear not! If you would like to match our donation and do not have a credit card. Send me a PM, you can send me your donation through Paypal and I will make a donation for you using my credit card (It will still be made under your name). Wait, I have to donate a penny every time I post? No! You don't have to pay a thing! All you need to do is post! Faith and I will cover the final donation. The only time you will have to donate anything is if you would like to match the boards donation and get a name change or custom user title for a reward! Your posting challenge for October! We chose October for a number of reasons, SPN returns! It's the last full month before the buddy walk! and it has 31 days instead of 30! That's one whole day worth of extra posts!! HAVE FUN! __________________

Glad to see some excitement for this!
I just wanted to stress that as far as the 'board donation' goes, Faith and I will be making the donation, just because you post during the month, we're not going to 'charge' posters or anything. The only time anybody will have to pay, will be if they want to match the board's donation and get themselves a shiney custom user title or name change. __________________

Sounds good to me! I have one question? If I wanted to try and match it to get a new title, is the title only permanent for 1 month or for forever?

Glad I could help.
Sadly I don't think the final donation total will be that much, I'm hoping we can get inbetween $20 - $30.  If we were to go by Septembers it would have been $15 and August would have been $17. But every little bit helps a wonderful cause. __________________
