I think the girl, maybe the dad and the teacher. Not sure. But I do know that Ed Westwick is suppose to be in it I think.

^really? that's so  cos i  ed westwick.
can you post the article about the possible sequel here? :daisy: |
I have no clue where I saw it. It's possible I saw it when modding the Ed board.
A friend of mine says that the movie Southland Tales kind of goes with this movie. He's not too happy about the sequel being made tho. It's hard to explain. Something like Southland Tales has to do with that time rift from Donnie Darko. And there should be a 3rd movie and possibly that Donnie wouldn't be dead or something. You'd ahve to watch Southland Tales. I'm pretty sure none of that makes sense. |
^oh ok. never mind then.
what you said made sense to me...well, kind of. :daisy: |

It's totally along the lines of DD so pay attention when you get around to seeing it!

Okay, UM. I'm apparently just a really, really shallow and slow person because... my friend at work raves about this movie and I finally agreed to watch it (rewatch it really, but I was super young when it first came out on DVD). Yeah, I... am confused.
All of the performances were amazing, I loved the music, but... there is much that went over my head. Again. My co-worker is going to laugh at meeee, LOL. |
Hee! Don't worry, Linds! I had the same reaction! The first time I watched it, I was like.. 'Huh?!' So I had to watched it a second time
|
Yeah, I watched it again with my sister and her husband. We were determined to figure out what the hell happened, LOL.
We've decided that he traveled back in time to save everyone, therefore dying... you think? Gah. |
ya, i should watch it again cos i didn't get it the first time i watched it to. it really deserves a second look since the movie is a bit deep. i remember my nephews & nieces asked me a bunch of questions after the movie ended & i couldn't answer most of them

Wasn't Jake amazing in it? |
^ Um, yes! Completely. I've decided that I kind of love this movie, LOL. I really understand it now, and it's so poignant and unique. Jake is so vulnerable and relateable, and just... gah.
One of my favorite moments is this one (and of course the line in my sig): Dr. Lilian Thurman: The search for God is absurd? Donnie: It is if everyone dies alone. It's just something I can relate to, you know? Believing and having faith through the harder times... seeing people you love die, sometimes alone, and still finding that faith. |
