Rupert Grint Attends the F1 Party

This evening in London, Rupert Grint attended the F1 Party at Battersea Evolution along with his rally driver brother, James. The event was held in support of the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity and the mark the launch of this weekend's British Grand Prix.

Rupert Grint to Join David Heyman in Talk About Harry Potter and UK Film Industry

ScreenDaily is reporting that Rupert Grint will join Harry Potter producer David Heyman and Josh Berger from Warner Bros. UK to talk about the Harry Potter phenomenon. The talk is part of the UK Trade & Investment's international business legacy program during the Olympic Games.

The film industry will be well represented in the Creative Industries portion of the event, which will take place on July 31 (very fitting for a Harry Potter discussion!). Note, however, that this is a private event for business leaders only.

Also Apparently Rupert will be running with the Olympic torch

Rupert Grint revealed in a new interview that he will be another celebrity set to run with the Olympic torch in England later this month, as part of the 70-day relay route from Athens to the host city of the games, this year in London. Rupert confirmed that he would be doing the relay run during an interview with fansite RG.net recently. SnitchSeeker received word from his reps that the date and location of his run is still being finalized, and that it will be confirmed by next week. Quote: Rupert Grint: I never run. I'm not a quick runner, but I'm actually running with the torch for the Olympics.
