I think it was to be expected. He's the son of man who tried to double cross the 4 horsemen. I don't think the audience are gullible to think he'd be a nice guy or on their side.

I guess not but why is it so important to think he's a good guy? The Four Horsemen are the good guys. They're the ones you are suppose to cheer for.

because I like twists. And because my assumption was that the movie wouldn't immediately tell the audience he was bad. I thought the movie would make the audience trust him first and think he's on the horseman's side then show the truth.

Also what is that around Dan's ankle in that next to last photo where they're all sitting on the couch?

I kind of liked the idea of now knowing what type of character he was playing until seeing the movie.

Its a b-roll. B-Rolls typically don't have sound. Its for promotional purposes so that entertainment shows can dub over with their own commentary about the film. They use this footage as background filler in-between clips or interviews.

Not sure but it looks like a bandage or something.
