Has your friend read the book?
My sister started reading the book yesterday. She went with me to the test audience thing without having read the book. and she liked the movie. Now reading the book, she said she likes getting Ig's inner monologue regarding how the horns make him feel, like the rush he gets when they're put to use. __________________

Well I've finally got to see it again. Enjoyed it just as much as the first time. Maybe a little less only because it wasn't involving premiere excitement but still. Dan was brilliant. So glad they kept everything in the same. I'll try not to worry too much over the threat of test screening complaints next time because in this case it was all for not.

I am surprised they didn't change anything b/c I thought the test screening audience had valid complaints. The end was....less than the book imo.
And when the test audience said the movie doesn't know what it wants to be - action, romance, horror, comedy - I saw critics say the same thing. __________________
