I was surprised as well -- Bellick is just plain stupid. I understand he's dealing with murderers and rapists, but to him, that's not the point. He likes to treat everyone like dirt, no matter who they are.

I find him really annoying, basically a waste of space in the grand scheme of things, but I do like how he keeps the boys on their toes.

He does come out with stupid but hilarious one-liners.

He, along with most of the CO's have done some horrid things in that prison, I don't think he's heard of karma...or rather, he's living his now [since he has a pretty sad life] because of his actions. I would feel sorry for him but I can't cos he's an assface.
