This episode is the best of the season, despite being still in an introductive phase...

The reason why Beth hates Jaime is revealed, but yet there is some doubt... how could Jaime omit to his sister such an important thing and how Beth realized that she was sterile after the abortion? I think Rip will know about that and won't like it...

John and Rainwater team up against Market Equities and their airport in a really good scene, where they are shown opposite but ready to do what's right (can't wait to see Beth and Angela together)

Kayce's first day shows that he is the best fit as Chief of Livestock Commission, he did what was right for Boyd's family, going over the rules (I think he identified himself with Boyd's son when he told him he wants to be a cowboy, like his father)

In any case, Jaime deserves all the hatred by Beth and now that he achieved his goal to become Attorney, he will be worth of it? There are some hint that say he won't, but we will see...

Rip has another fight with two guys who know John... probably next week will be explained more of this.

Roarke had two scenes this week and they showed that he is not a simple manager who comes and does things (he wants only to fish, come on! xD); his psychology is not evident, but he hates to be defeated, since he knows that he can't be beaten, economically talking, and the "trout discussion" with Beth underlined how he likes to stomp other people in order to achieve his goals. But with someone like Beth he has found a tough challenge (quoting Beth herself, "I am looking forward to it"!)

Lloyd's wisdom is pure gold!

The barn scene was funny (who the hell is Laramie?) and maybe the last bit of calm, before things will heat up.

I'm glad that you enjoyed the episode. :D

It's great that Roarke has a challenge with Beth. :)
