Random: in the new Lost video podcast they talkl again with the prop master of the show, and he mentions that Lindelof and Cuse phoned him directly only twice. The first time, it was to prepare the bomb that went on the freighter in S4, the other was for... squirrel baby.

They even made two different versions, and shot the first scenes with both.

I believe that prop received more attention than Jin's dialogues this season.

I must say I was expecting more from the Jack/Claire reunion, although the awkwardness was inevitable. If you think how much discovering that she was his sister impacted Jack in S4.
I was also surprised he didn't fight harder to include her in the group of those who decided to leave the island. What if Claire hadn't showed up at the dock? (that goes for Kate, too, but she made up for it with her speech)
Sawyer's position was more understandable (he doesn't have any strong link to Claire and didn't want to take any chances with her and Sayid).

Maybe there is a squirrel baby with a coconut head? Too bad Wilson from the movie Castaway wasn't in Lost. It could have been squirrel baby's soulmate.
