Okay, it's almost the weekend...any plans? I think I can actually get some writing done. The rewrite of my book is going slowly, but it's going since the formatting is all crazy & no matter what I do in Word it won't take away all formatting So have to fix it manually paragraph by paragraph.

Weather is finally nice (as in cooler) but only today & tomorrow. Hubby & I spent most of the day together just enjoying it & I was able to get some research & writing done Such a shame it will be warming up again on Monday

We are having unseasonably nice weather...it's amazing! We should be in the negative teens by now but we're sitting at 12. If only winter could be like this.

I'm a big winter hater..so I'm sucking up this warmer weather like crazy. Apparently it's suppose to be a pretty mild winter. :crossedfingers:

Hating winter? I can't imagine ever. I act like I'm dying during summer. I can't handle heat despite growing up in Southern California/Arizona/Nevada.

I'm so awake in cold weather. I finally stop feeling anemic. My brain starts rapid firing and creativity flows and my memory is better. I have energy.

Hello guys, it's been a while. I hope everyone's doing fine.
A lot happened lately, and I just couldn't find the time and will to go online. I hate humanity lately, but I know I can find good people here.
The worst of it being that I didn't lost anyone I know in terrorist attacks in Paris, but some of my friends didn't had that chance. So I'm doing my best to be there for them, including my brother who has lost someone he liked a lot.
But those real-life monsters won't win. The best we can do, is to continue to live and celebrate everything we believe in, despite the pain, anger and fear.
So Adrien asked me to marry him. We lived together for a while now. I know I referred to him as my husband, because it was the easiest way and it was always the way I felt about him, but we never were actually married. So here we are, planning a wedding in a country at war.
It's weird, a little desperate too, not at all as I imagined. But it would be the best wedding ever, to celebrate life.

PS : I'm soooooooooooo late on watching SPN ! Still haven't seen the end of season 10 !

So glad you are doing all right, Kat. I've been praying for you & your family as I wasn't sure how far away you were & if you'd lost anyone in that horrific event. And congrats for the upcoming wedding
And get your bottom going on getting caught up...it's a great season

My daughter was in Paris when it happened, but her father's place was far from the attacked areas, and she's fine. I was mad with worry though, and Adrien had trouble to keep me from stealing his car and going to Paris to take her home.
Life is slowly getting back to normal here, but people are well aware that we'll be attacked again pretty soon. There's nothing to do about it but hope that police and secret services will do their job at best, so we live and party a little harder then before, as many think it could be their last time.
We spent this weekend with my brother, in a ranch, at a huge party of 80 people Many of them were my old friends from before the dark days, and it was really heartwarming to catch up with them, as well as meet new friends
Now I set my mind on work and wedding organization, trying not to think about my daughter's upcoming trip to Paris in december.
"Everything will be alright" seems to be my motto lately, but not sure who am I fooling with it. But well, show must go on

I'll try to catch up on the new season soon, I just need to find few hours of free time now and then

I'm happy for you on your upcoming wedding Kat, and that you and your family are safe but I'm sorry to hear about people you know personally being affected by the horrible attack in Paris. Glad you're safe
