13x10 "Wayward Sisters" Episode Discussion
Wayward Sisters January 18, 2018 The CW KATHRYN NEWTON, KIM RHODES, KATHERINE RAMDEEN, BRIANA BUCKMASTER, CLARK BACKO AND YADIRA GUEVARA-PRIP RETURN – When Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) go missing, Jody Mills (guest star Kim Rhodes) calls Claire Novak (guest star Kathryn Newton), the rebellious rogue hunter, and tells her it is time to come home – they need to find the Winchesters. Claire returns and reunites with Alex Jones (guest star Katherine Ramdeen), who has stayed behind with Jody and tries to balance a “normal” life with being a part time hunter. While Jody is happy to have Claire home again, she’s plagued by Patience’s (guest star Clark Backo) disturbing vision involving her adopted daughter. Claire and Alex search for Kaia Nieves (guest star Yadira Guevara-Prip), the dreamcatcher responsible for opening the rift that Sam and Dean went through, as she holds the key to their whereabouts. Jody calls her friend, Donna Hanscum (guest star Briana Buckmaster), to round out the team and the women head off on the most important hunt of their lives. __________________

don't get me wrong...I love seeing Jody! Kim is awesome...and such a sweetheart in person and Briana too but I'm not excited about the other characters.
honesty time...the episode wasn't for me...it was a little to...I don't know how to put it. it just wasn't what I wanted I guess but it was great to see Jody and Donna back together __________________

I enjoyed it. But I liked watching these ladies in all their previous appearances.
It’s not a bad start. I just hope there’s more of it. __________________

I enjoyed the episode even though Claire is certainly NOT my fav character. She's right below Mary in my book. BUT... I like all the girl power that SPN has brought into the show in recent years.
 I don't think the spin off (if it happens) will be as popular as our boys, but it's a much better premise & better done than the last one they tried. We at least know these characters & it fit perfect in the overall story arc (unlike new, unlikable character that was just plugged in somewhere & they expected us to take them in *pfft* )Loved seeing Kim & Brianna. Such kicka** women on the show. & so happy the boys are back home. Now I'm worried about Jack  He's really grown on me __________________

I liked the episodes. It was great to see so many of the female characters in one episode together. I'm not a fan of Claire either but the show was still enjoyable for me even with her in it.
I might check out the spinoff when it airs. I was expecting to not care for this ep because the other spin off ep they had a few years back was terrible. But I actually liked this one for the most part. |
