Someone found Lucifer's sword and is using it to kill angels. Castiel (Misha Collins) and Uriel (guest star Robert Wisdom) have captured Alastair (guest star Christopher Heyerdahl) and ask Dean (Jensen Ackles) to use the torturing skills he learned in Hell to extract information from him so they can stop the murders.

Sam (Jared Padalecki) is concerned Dean can't handle the job but Dean agrees to do it.

However, when Alastair reveals some shocking information, Dean's world is shattered.

Mike Rohl directed the episode written by Ben Edlund.

and im going to hate castiel more (and maybe even uriel :() after this episode too. seriously.

o and can't forget the fact i will want to bash sam's head against the wall, repeatedly, and then one more time for fun... after this episode

I'm with you on that!! 9 more hours!!! This episode is going to be so intense!!! But I have a feeling I will say that with every episode the rest of the season. Ahhh...as for the spoiler posted below: um. OMG.

If that was the case, the show just can't get any better. I'd love to see how everything is played out tonight.
