Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate a small town that has been plagued by a number of strange murders that resemble fairy tales, such as Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White and Hansel and Gretel.

Meanwhile, Sam summons the Crossroad Demon (guest star Sandra McCoy) and threatens to kill her with the newly rebuilt Colt unless she releases Dean from his deal.

Mike Rohl directed the episode written by Cathryn Humphris.

I'm really looking forward to this one actually.
The premice is VERY interesting and quite ambitious and high consept. So naturally I'm very curious about the execution.
Kripke seemed excited about it though, and the ones he's like that for, usually come out great, so definitelly a plus

Jared and Sandy! ...am I the only one kinda bummed that it wasn't Dean calling up the CD this time around? I'd love to see Jensen/Sandy togther.

I think I'm more excited about this ep that I have been since the season premiere! I posted in my LJ last week that I was getting sick of demons already but I take it back for this week. SO cannot wait to see how Jared and Sandy play off each other, it's going to be awesome

Plus the whole fairtytales thing sounds really good too, something a bit different for them to try.

you're not the only one, I would have loved to see Jensen/Sandy together too... Both the boys should have went to summon the CD so it would have been all three of them together...

I'm pretty excited about this episode too. I like the premise of it and that they're gonna be doing a Brothers Grimm type of bit to the fairytales

I can't wait to see Sandy and Jared on the same screen too. But I'd also love to see Jensen and Sandy be seen together!

ok Sandy is SUCH a cutie but I know the whole time she's on screen with Jared all I am going to be thinking is "they are dating in real life" which I doubt will be the point of the scene
