Kitchen Confidential Media and News Thread
Let's start off with an early review from the The Futon Critic.
According to the critic, the pilot suffers from some story contrivances but admits that it's still worth watching due to "the most recognizable, talented and interesting cast of any new fall series this season." Be warned, the the full review contains lots of plot details that could be considered spoilers.. __________________

E Online! have reviewed the show, and having rated it B+. And of course, the wisest thing i've read all week: "Did I mention Nicholas Brendon and Bradley Cooper? Can you imagine a more delicious pairing?". So true. Not exactly for the "delicious" part, but i imagine they have great on-screen presence together.

"He's kind of like a long-lost cousin, except not blood related, so we can make love...What am I saying?!"
Ha, he sounds just like good old Xander. I wonder what his character will be like in this show? Will he retain his well known humour? __________________

I think i may have bad news for all John Cho fans (and that includes me). I was checking out Kitchen Confidential's official website, and John Cho is no longer in the cast picture or show description. And so it seems as though he's been dropped from the show.
Although, nothing has been officialy comfirmed, so lets not lose all hope yet. __________________

We were chatting about this over at Nicks official site boards.
I was very worried that John Cho was no longer in it. Ends up he's going to be in 8 of the 13 episodes of the first season. But he is still very much so in the show, just not all the time. And Nick's character is supposed to be a compulsive gambler...so that should be fun to see. I hope he's snarky. Some links for you guys (if you haven't seen these already...) Seth caps from Brendon_Daily: http://www.livejournal.com/community...95.html#cutid1 http://www.livejournal.com/community...05.html#cutid1 KC Preview: http://www.canwestmediasales.com/tel...fidential.html And the television preview trailer thingy can be found to download at http://www.nickbrendon.com. Which I saw the trailer for the first time last week. Looks really great. __________________

Oh, thank God. I'm so glad John Cho is still in the show. The scene that he shared with Nicholas in the Pilot about the 'pasta pyramid' was fantastic.
And Nick's character is going to be a compulsive gambler. Sounds like a good move, and also, it may give the show a sense of Drama, along with all the Comedy. Also, judging by this picture. It looks like Nick and John's characters are friends, and potentially roomates, by the room that they are sitting in. __________________

Fancy food always looks so nasty, am I the only one who thinks that? I'm glad someone finally took the time to say 'what the hell does that thing look like?' for a scene.
And hee, love that picture. __________________

Thanks for the articals. I just started working as a chef, so I'm really excited about this show. And Brad and Nick in the same place, not to mention in a kitchen..... I'm a happy girl. I hope the show is as good as it looks.
