My WT European 2018 tour tee arrived earlier this week.

Slowly getting there to the gig! I've got my Vancouver countdown next for October. Then I'll countdown to WT for November.

What a year it will have been.

Yeah, I ordered it with the tickets, when they went on sale, it was some special deal or something, so long ago I can't remember what now. I almost forgot I ordered one, 'cause I also ordered a different one separately that came last week. It is a good one, though it's pretty big for a small tee, (I am petite) supposed to be the smallest size (8) and it feels more like a PJ top so I'm wearing it as PJs right now.

I knowwwwwww right? I have finally met him. He really was so tall, I knew he was and I knew I would look small next to him but omg actually standing next to him was ..... He's about 6"3 and I'm only just 5". I got to meet him like 4 times over the weekend at the Comic Con. Got 5 extra autos for friends, had a photoshoot with him and John Schneider (who played Jonathan Kent on Smallville), then went to get my autos on Saturday and had that photoshoot with him after that. Then there was the 40 minute talk too. Tom is such a nice guy, really friendly, down to earth. I gave him a London pin badge on the Friday, the first time I met him and he loved it so much he put it on his shirt straight away and wore it for the rest of the day.

It's been a rollercoaster year so far, but having met Tom and just knowing that I still have more to look forward to will keep me going.

First day of relearning some of the new Within Temptation songs we will be playing on our upcoming tour. I’m starting to feel excited. Yes, you’re not drunk: 8 strings for some of them.

Oooh wow. This is huge stuff.

I had no idea Sharon had disliked the band name for a time. I sincerely hope they don't officially change their band name to 'Resist Temptation' as it doesn't have quite the same ring to it as 'Within Temptation.' After all, after so many years of being WT, RT would be really strange! However, I can totally get behind that this is going to be another new era for the band, which is really exciting and I can't wait to see what they've got in store for us.

Me either, but I don't really think they'll change it. It just seems to fit with the concept that they're going for. If you view the new website, you can read the whole thing that the teasers are hinting at. You've just got to scrub out what's covering it.

Did you listen to the teaser? I don't recognise the male vocals, and there seems to be some electronic influence right at the end. so exciting.

I did indeed listen to the teaser. Loving the song so far! I am very intrigued with all this mystery. All this teasing...so glad this is only for a week, otherwise I think I would be going crazy with the wait!
