I understand. ;)
Just came across this. Wow. What an amazing heartfelt and open interview. Sharon, you are inspirational. It is the hardest ever losing a loved one like that. |
Thanks, I'll check it out. :)
|
No problem. :) I also like how it was filmed in black & white.

 she doesn't need colour.
|
 She looks beautiful in any video colour.
|
 we get it. :D

I agree. :D

Really enjoying the new album! I like this direction they've gone in. Accessible, some modern (pop) vocal styles (that I only know cuz I heard it on the radio before  ) and just plain fun! I was kind of shocked to hear that the last album almost did them in, but I'm glad it didn't. Looks like they're having a lot of fun now!
I had a friend mention the production quality wasn't as nice as it could have been, and I agree. I wonder what happened? I still need to go out and buy this so maybe what I've heard is just a mediocre rip. |
Nellie! :back_hug: Long time no see! How are you?
I think the production quality of the album is fine. It might not have the finesse of their previous albums, but then that might be due to the new sound and style. |
Hey Liv!! I'm good, things are pretty much the same as always  How about you? :D
I'll have to check out those acoustic versions of the new album. I'm so not in the loop! This is why I missed this place! |
I know what you mean! Some great and crazy things happened for me in the last couple of years, but otherwise it's been pretty much the same for me too.
The acoustic versions are great. Now is the perfect time to catch up and get back in the loop! :) |
I have no issues with the production either (and that's usually something I'd be picky about) I have it on vinyl and even bought a hi-def FLAC rip of it (which I'm now listening to, to prove it to myself ).
|
:look: Might just be my rip then! The quality is pretty meh. My friend who mentioned this was hearing the album off Spotify too, so I dunno XD
They are currently touring North America but obviously no where close to where I am :sigh: Such is life. I would have thought they gained a Nightwish-level of traction here in North America, but I guess not :( |
Yeah, if you got it ripped then it's most likely why. Hm, you'd think Spotify it would be good quality...I downloaded mine off iTunes, no problems with the quality there.
Aww. That sucks, 'cause I think this year's North America tour it looks like they're going to more places than they've ever done there before. Especially in Canada, they've done Montreal (that was on Tuesday) and Toronto (yesterday) and then they'll be in Vancouver. I'm sorry they're still not coming anywhere near where you are! Guess that's the problem, the world is so big they can only tour to so many places at a time. One day! Perhaps after this tour, they might gain more traction in North America and they might do more next time. :) I went to Vancouver myself last October, which was an amazing trip. :sigh: |
I'll have to send you a copy of mine, Nellie. :P there's a lot going on in the background of most tracks, so it could be that. :)
Plus it must cost a fair amount of money. I think they're doing well over there, the album got to #13. :) We both saw them in November though. ;) |
