It's true that Hybrid Theory never gets old. I remember when I heard "One Step Closer" entering the top 20 in like 2000. Then Linkin Park released "In The End" and "Crawling" and I was hooked. I hadn't listened to much if any rock music until that point. I was into pop, EDM and rap and rock didn't get played on the radio much. LP fused melodic rock with rap into a newish genre and it really hit me hard. Looking back from 2023, now we fans know how good their debut album really was. It's an album that you can listen to very quickly but it's basically hit after hit. LP lost me after Meteora (the Reanimation album is also really cool) but they will never be forgotten because of their first two massive records.
