How's the weekend going so far?

I've had a frustrating one so far. Saddle up, its' a long one

I'm flying to London next month and we decided that perhaps driving from London to Wales is a better option cuz we don't wanna be on a bus for ever and trains are ridiculous. So I go online to finalize what I already researched, and apparently my flight has changed! I never got any notification and it says they need my "immediate attention".. I keep getting routed to call these people to even see what the change is, and I'm still waiting for my call back. I'm tired of waiting, so I looked up the flight and my once direct flight has the stupidest layover. Now it's making us go to Vancouver first before heading off to London. BUT WHY!? Why can't the change be that the Vancouver departure has to stop in Calgary? Why would I wanna go an hour in the wrong direction, wait 2 hours in that airport, then go on my originally planned flight.. to make that flight now an hour longer!

But at least I have my Avengers Endgame tickets now. I caved and I'm going the first Sat in opening weekend!

that's ridiculous, but I'd be surprised if there was any more logic to it than extra money.

that's a plus, for sure. I haven't seen either of the movies that I planned to watch this weekend (feeling a little under the weather, so I just stayed home)

I hope you feel better soon, Dave. We saw Pet Semetary yesterday. It was interesting. It's very different from the original. I've never read the book so I'm not sure how true to that the first one was, so I had to buy the book so I can read it. I started it last night.

I'm sorry for your trouble, Nellie. That is really ridiculous. Airline logic makes no sense. This is why I don't travel too far.

The whole flight fiasco has me so drained. Spent an hour on the phone with FlightHub changing my flights cuz apparently my original booking doesn't exist anymore. We got angry and tweeted at Air Transat, Gareth got results and got in contact with them and they tell us we're still booked and that flight is still a go.. like wtf is going on? I also haven't received any confirmations for my changed flights, so today we're going to be on the phone with both FH and AT.. so yay weekend.
