Hey everybody! This may sound weird but I have been trying to figure this out and it's driving me nuts.... What does Caroline the prosecutor call people all the time? Cherie? As in the french word, like sweetheart? This doesn't quite make sense to me but that's what it sounds like. Anybody know anything about this?

We first saw her in New Orleans..and if i remember correctly she said cher. which is what they say in NO. then it morphed to cherie.. i think it just used to give her attitude.

I think a burning bones question thread is good idea..I have one too.. Why on earth could they not prove Zack didnt kill the lawyery guy.. Do they know he didnt and are just keeping him out of regular jail..

Yes Caroline calls everyone Cherie. It is her term of endearment such as someone saying darling or pet. Gives her a bit oomph I think.

Sweets knows that he didn't and the others probably suspect. But I think since he admitted it and it is totally plausible in a way they have just accepted that he did. I don't think it's been looked into more than that though.

Yes, she's using the french cherie (as in Mon Cherie; my dear or my darling). It's kind of like Angela calling everyone "sweetie", it's just her own brand of endearment.

(And, Zack told Sweets not to tell anyone because while he didn't kill the guy he still told them killer where to find him, so he'd be an accomplice to murder and go to jail - the way it is now he can plead insanity for murder and stay in the insititution)
