He also had the most adorable smirk when she's sitting next to him. It's not a close up, but you can always tell when David is smiling.

I loved this episode so much! I finished watching I was like 'WOAH'

I was absolutely convinced he was going to kiss her just then!!! The music was so right at the moment. It would have been perfect. I also thought he was during the silence of their fight.....absolutely electric. And this word has been used loads........but intense is the word to describe the episode.

Laughed out loud when Brennan pushed Jared off the chair. Classic.

Yeah Brendan Fehr (Not sure if I spelt has name right!!) was really good even though Jared was a jerk.

Loved the last line 'My dad drinks (or something like that)' just left hanging in the air with the piano playing over it was brilliant. Perfect Bones. I love this show so much.

How the mighty have fallen

I really expected to enjoy this episode, b/c I genuinely love and miss Dark Booth, but if that means putting up with the new (un)improved DUMBED DOWN Temperance Brennan I'd rather put up with vapid, chair obsessed Booth.

I'm sorry you felt that way about Brennan in this episode. I guess everyone will always have a different take when they watch it.

I guess the over-reaching arcs I saw more than anything else this eppy were the following:
depth into Booth, which I LOVED
real reactions from Brennan on how her actions were affecting Booth, which I LOVED (because sometimes with the writers strike we were short on that)
intensity and character development, which I LOVED since the writers strike had shortened it down

I felt so bad for the policeman when he was so upset about maybe having killed the victim.

I was happy to see Clark back. Poor guy, I agree with him about the TMI’s at the Jeffersonian. For us it’s great, but for him not so much. They were all happy to see him back.

Booth so didn’t want Bren to date Jared.

Loved how Bren was thinking about Booth while at the party. When Jared kissed her and asked if Booth had tried that she said no and looked like she wished he would.

I’m so glad she didn’t sleep with Booth-lite. Both Cam and Angela know that Bren wants real Booth.

I thought the cop would make Booth lie about the meth lab victim unless that had already gotten out. I wonder if the cop asked for it or Booth offered to give up his credit in the RICO case.

I know some people are upset that Brennan thought Booth was a loser for however short period of time but I don’t think she meant loser in the way Booth took it. Booth doesn’t let himself win (and therefore loses). Also, Booth used the word “loser” so it’s telling that she used the same word when confronting Jared. When she says she believed Jared I think she meant she believed that Booth sabotaged his success and not that Booth was a loser per se.

The intervention was so sweet. They really are her loved ones.

Clark attended Booth’s Birthday party.

What a great toast Bren gave for Booth. She’s right, the quiet one who does the work and sacrifices is the real alpha. It reminds me a bit of the speech Xander gave to Dawn on BtVS.

When Bren said that her talking to Booth about psychology is like him teaching her something about anthropology, he realized that he had taught her about what’s a real alpha male and what’s really important.

Technically, Max would kill again if someone threatened his family but Jared could kill someone if he doesn’t stop drinking.

Loved how Bren brought a piece of cake and two forks.

Booth really wanted Bren to stay with him, hence “I just need time.”

It’s so good to see Booth opening up to Bren about himself and his family.

And they when later he starts to evolve as a person. But right now, he just can't go there, and yet the Jeffersonian is all about mixing in each other's personal life, for good and bad. Discussing... Making comments.

He did eventually get there, it just took some time. Clark was an interesting character.
