I watched an interview with Emily where she said that she'll like to do some more directorial work because she enjoys directing...however she also said she probably wouldn't do another network TV drama after starring in Bones for 12 years, I guess she's become exhausted with TV shows after working on Bones for so long. She'd probably focus more on independent movies or maybe even directing her own movie...I'm a bit disappointed because I really want to see Emily star in another TV series, but I will continue to support her in whatever projects she wants to do in the future. I hope she'll at least work with David again on another project.

Yeah I remember hearing that she wanted to do some directing. Yeah I can see why she might be tired after working on Bones for 12 years.

after working on Bones for 12 years it's understandable she would want a break from TV dramas...though she never said this would be the last time she'll star in a TV show, so maybe in the future she might consider doing another TV drama who knows. I hope she works on a new project soon, whether it be a movie or TV series I don't really care, I just miss her.

I think all of us miss her. It will be cool to see her on our screens again. Maybe a role very different from Brennan.
