I thought with Bones coming to an end I would create a thread where we can share our favorite memories from the past 12 years. I look forward to hearing what everyone has to say.

My favorite characters were Zack, and then Vincent Nigel-Murray. I am still devastated with the way the writers wrote him off the show. But then I look back and think, and Broadsky wasn't as big a baddie as some of the ones in the later seasons like Pelant and Kovac. I think he was just messed up a bit in the head, probably from the battlefield. I know he originally was hired by someone to kill off that woman who held Booth hostage. That's when the whole thing started and to be honest, that bugged me because then it dragged on for like two seasons.

I also loved Caroline's pestering of BB in the early days, and how she challenged them to kiss... Brennan took that challenge. But I found her compliment of Booth's kiss a bit odd.

I love that Hodgins and Angela had their happy ending, but I did not really like that guy from that exotic country at all. He screwed things up for them, and then made threats at Hodgins. Angela's a hard-core feminist, so it also bugs me that she didn't tell this guy off more bluntly.

I am a bit confused on the Zack thing, though. Last episode made it sound like he had been sentenced to the asylum for an extended period of time way back in season 3. But back in season 3, it was implied he would be institutionalized permanently? If he needed rehabilitation period to get back into society, I would have sent him back to his parents' in Michigan and have him be under house arrest. Not spend another year in the place where he nearly died!

I think that's pretty much it for now.

That's great. I started watching in between season 4 & 5 when I visited my grandma in Florida. The first episode I ever saw was the Widow's Son in the Windshield. I would only get to watch every episode so I was very confused. I watch Verdict in the Story before Judas on the Pole so I was confused why Brennan didn't know it was Max. I remembered watching Santa in the Slush and getting excited when Caroline made B&B kiss. I was disappointed when Booth started sleeping with Cam.

Oh I have so many memories! 12 seasons of amazingness! I started watching in during season 5. I remember I was so obsessed, that I made sure I didn't work or have school on Bones nights.

I love that people still were drawn to Bones even at the end.

I remember back in season 6 having skype chats after the episode with some people who used to post here. We would all complain about how much we hated Hannah. I remember saying we needed to put our pitchforks and torches away.

I only came as a viewer, late in Season One. I think nothing was on one night, and the New Orleans episode came on, and I thought why not. And then a rerun came on the one with the first showdown with Epps from early on in the season, and I was hooked... And disappointed soon after to see the season finale...wanted more...

And watched full time the next season. It wasn't until you buy the DVDs that I think I saw the majority of Season One. Since then, it was a show I loved.

I loved everyone. Zack was a early favorite, but then over time I found I didn't quite miss him as much, just hoped for the resolution to his case.

Loved Angela and Hodgins...

But the show was special. Always on the treat of cancellation, but continued on and made it to 12 seasons...

It was something unique, and fun.

That's cool you found it during season 1. My grandma used to put it on when it was on TNT while I was visiting. I don't think she realized how obsessed I'd get.

This show is so hard to let go of. I know I will never be able too.


I remember how angry I was at Booth with Hannah, sad with what happened with Zack and Brennan's whole journey with her family and Max and Russ and her mom is still one of my favorite storylines to this day.

It really is going to be tough to let go. Part of me thinks it hasn't sunk in yet.

I remember when I started watching on a regular basis in season how angry I was when Booth and Brennan wouldn't get together when it was so obvious they wanted to.

I was sad when Zack left and very angry when Hannah showed up. I loved Brennan's family storyline as well.
