Finally weekend! Hoping to go to the cinema for a couple of movies and get some good rest. How are you guys doing?

I did watch some TV. But didn't go out. Drive is still playing in an amazing classic theatre here. I was contemplating about seeing it again, but than it will be my fourth time and I have to do some serious convincing lol.

It's always good to rest, catch up on some sleep

Oh I see the 4th time. Hm.. would have to think of a reason of why watching it that many times.

I don't think its still playing over here though.

I wanted to too, but I have seen it 3 times since Nov 3rd lol. It opened on the 11th of Nov here, it's getting some good reception (the first few times I have seen it people burst into applause in the end) so it's still in many theaters. Too bad it was competing with Twilight though.

And I don't want to over watch it, I already pre-ordered the Bluray discs lol!

I just don't understand how Twilight is still going.

Stuff like that usually has such a short-shelf life, as far as trends go and, yet, somehow it's as big as ever. :-\

I guess the teenage market is so big nowadays. They basically dominate the box office, from twilight to transformers. It is sad that only once in a while you will have a hit like True Grit which caters to more mature audience.

I can't wait for the Bluray, even though it's only the first edition! I am really looking forward to the Queen edition! I hope that will have better artwork though

Me too. I don't get Twilight either but yes it is that demographic that seems to go and watch the movies

yeah. I am glad I am too old for that, or that these widely popular teenage novels weren't that popular when I was growing up.

Week is ok so far, fairly busy, but few hours till TGIF

I don't remember a lot of YA books from when I was a teen... more book series from my tween years like The Saddle Club or Goosebumps.
