I think out of Casino Royale, The Dark Knight and Iron Man, I would have loved to have seen her in Casino Royale most. I thought the character of Vesper was very well written, and even though I liked Eva Green's portrayal, I think Rachel would have nailed it.
Oh and I completely agree with what you said about Ben Affleck, Rob! Gone Baby Gone was too fantastic. |

I thought Ben was good in The Town as well.
I've already stated but I wish she had done Prada. If so, maybe SHE would be hosting the Oscars instead of Anne Hathaway |

Hopefully she'll be there this year. I was so happy to see her for the first time at the Oscars last year. I've said this before, but I find that Anne Hathaway has a great mix of different roles and I'd like to see Rachel do something similar.
I think they're planning to release The Vow near Valentine's Day - it's definitely sounding commercial. __________________

I don't really like Ben Affleck as an actor, but he's a great director -- I agree. I loved Gone Baby Gone. Good to hear though that he's good in The Town -- I've been wanting to see that! But I guess I'm going to end up seeing it on DVD.
2012? That is a long time. Is Valentine's Day a great day for people to see movies? I would think so, right? Maybe it's a good idea for it to be released during that time. __________________

If it's a romantic movie I guess people will go see it. And The Vow is supposed to be very romantic, so I think it will do okay on Valentine's Day

I loved 50 First Dates, too! I got a feeling I won't be loving The Vow as much... it sounds like a cheese-fest to be honest.
I watched Black Swan a few weeks ago and loved it. Supposedly, Rachel was considered for Mila Kunis' role . Mila and Natalie were perfectly cast for their roles in the movie, but it would've been so great to see Rachel in a darker, more challenging role as in Black Swan. What do you guys think? __________________

I think it would have been an awesome for Rachel! It's definitely a type of movie she's never been a part of yet, and I think she could have pulled it off.
I'm the same as you - I really liked Mila/Natalie in their roles, though. __________________

Rachel needs to do a dark role I think. Her Regina George role was mean but not dark, otherwise she's always played a friendly protagonist. A dark role would really challenge her - I would love for her to do one.

I'm glad you guys agree!
I agree, Rob, Regina was a villainous role, but it wasn't a dark one. Rachel definitely has what it takes to play a darker, grittier role. I hope she doesn't shy away from one if it's ever offered to her. __________________

I agree with what you said Rukia that Mila and Natalie in Black Swan were perfectly suited for the roles, but it would definitely be nice to see Rachel do something a bit more beyond her comfort zone, something where she's not sweet or funny.

BTW, what really happened with Black Swan? She was only considered for the role? __________________
