And yeah, that is quite interesting, I wonder if she has been too. I was hoping to hear something this past week about her being in London because of that Tumblr post about a Mean Girls thing buuuuut nothing.

I know Amanda, so disappointed :(

The time frame doesn't really add up though, she was also spotted in TO although maybe she flew to NY the same day.

In WME related news - because the Rachel news is going way too slow lately - director Joe Johnston signed on to the agency according to deadline. EDIT: And Roger Michell - who directed Rachel in Morning Glory - also joined WME.

Why would she drop out of Passengers so close to filming if she didn't have a better offer? Is there any chance she's expecting?

I hadn't even thought of that and now that you said it it just blew my mind.

I actually thought the exact same thing and I wouldn't be surprised! The only thing that's weird about this is that Weinstein backed out too.

That could be, I was thinking myself that she might have been dropped out due to personal circumstances (which also can be positive of course :D)

But too me it seems more likely that she has something else on the horizon. She recently signed on to WME, and like Heather mentioned TWC also dropped out (and they didn't pull out with Reese Witerspoon left the project). I hope her signing on to a new agency means she wants to do a new movie this year :) That being said, it still doesn't make sense to me why she left Passengers, especially since they found a new distributor so quickly.

The whole situation is kind of a pain in the bum to figure out is all I know.
