It may be a genre thing. In The Vow's poster Rachel and Channing were also in "couply" mode. Though I don't know much about romantic dramas.

When The Vow did come out, I saw people on Twitter confusing it for a NS movie, too.
I have to admit, I didn't really like The Vow posters. Too much photoshop. __________________

Yeah everyone thought it was a NS movie (amnesia, love story... rings a bell!)

I prefer the Australian/German poster of The Vow - I do like The Notebook poster because it's one of my favorite scenes of the movie

I agree, and his chin looks a bit weird. Well at least they didn't photoshop a hand off like they did in a still of The Vow
