Favorite/Least Favorite Rachel Movie

What's everyone's favorite and least favorite Rachel movie? I'll start off:

Favorite Rachel Movie: tie between Red Eye and Mean Girls
Least Favorite Rachel Movie: The Hot Chick

There are a few Rachel movies I haven't seen, just FYI,

Favorite Rachel Movie: The Family Stone - I love the entire family element and the change we see in Rachel's character from beginning to end. She really makes the movie for me....if she wasn't in it, I think I'd find it quite a bit more boring.
Least Favorite Rachel Movie: The Hot Chick - I saw this again on TV the other day (I had only seen it once before shortly after it came out on DVD) and it really was awful I'm glad that wasn't a career ender for her.

Haven't seen enough to give a least favourite cause do love her in all those that I have seen so

Favourite...Sherlock Holmes
Not cause I'm obsessed but cause I do love her role in the movie she was absolutely gorgeous, had great chem with RDJ and really felt that she had the role. She needs to be in the 2nd and have more backstory

That's a good idea to share why we like and why we didn't like a Rachel movie, Gabriela. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I really loved Rachel in The Family Stone, too. She was great, and the whole cast made a really believable family.

I'm glad The Hot Chick didn't kill her career either. It was terrible. I hope she doesn't do a movie like that ever again. If she were to do raunchy comedies, she should do a Judd Apatow movie though.

I really liked her Red Eye because it was the first movie that I watched that she was the center star. It was the movie that made me notice her and made me become her fan. She carried the movie so well, and she and Cillian were just great together.

She was amazing in Mean Girls as well. She was a totally different person as Regina. She was totally believable though and so funny! She stole the spotlight from Lindsay definitely!

I liked her fine in Sherlock Holmes, Sarah. I just wasn't crazy about her role as Irene because the character just seemed so one-dimensional. She was beautiful though.

Amy was my favorite character out of TFS as well. She was the most interesting character out of the family, at least for me.

I loved the costumes in Sherlock Holmes!

Favorite: I'll pick Mean Girls. It's was really the first film where I noticed Rachel and she was Regina. She played that role perfectly. Rachel was just great in that movie.

Least Favorite: Probably The Hot Chick. It's great to see how far her career has come since that.

Mean Girls will always be a favorite of mine. No matter how many movies Rachel will do!

I also really liked her in The Lucky Ones. Overall, the movie wasn't perfect, but I thought Rachel's role as Colee was outstanding.

I do agree but she was absolutely gorgeous. Wished we got more on her character or more altogether. But she was still pretty cool in the movie, loved her first scene with Sherlock. Then leaving him naked in the hotel room meh, just felt that she did have enough as a minor character with how it was mainly to do with Sherlock/Watson

You should watch The Lucky Ones sometime, Belle.

I agree, Sarah. It was definitely more Sherlock/Watson's movie. Rachel was good, but she was barely in the movie it felt like.

I agree about Sherlock Holmes...it really felt like she was hardly in it.

I see why you guys like Mean Girls so much - it's not my favorite role of hers but I like that she played such an opposite character from herself and from a lot of the characters she's done, and pulled it off fantastically. That's impressive to me.

I really liked her in Time Traveler's Wife but I had trouble with that movie because I honestly didn't feel a ton of chemistry between her and Eric Bana.

It was really impressive! In the wrong hands, the role of Regina could've been all kinds of wrong.

Halleujah, Gabriela! I agree! It felt a bit forced at times. I don't know if it's because of the bad script or if it's because of Rachel and Eric themselves, but it wasn't the greatest chemistry. I've watched a few of Eric's movies, and he's kinda hit or miss with his co-star chemistry. It's probably his fault. J/K.

Yeah, I remember reading that Lindsay Lohan was first supposed to play Regina, but changed her mind. I don't think it would have worked as well without Rachel as Regina.

I think I'm the only one who like Eric/Rachel together. I thought they made a good pair.

I agree. They definitely played up the 'bromance'. It was fun to watch, but at the same time it made it look like Irene was just in the background.

I completely agree about the Regina role - the movie could have ended up very annoying I think with a different actress playing Regina.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks they weren't the greatest together! I really thought I might be the only one

I think the one movie I almost always forget about Rachel being in is Wedding Crashers...I just never think of that as one of her movies and when I think of the movie, it takes me a moment before I realize she was in it

I agree! I'm glad Lindsay didn't play Regina. Lindsay and Rachel were great in their respective roles.

I think you're in the majority, and Gabriela and I are in the minority. I just thought Eric was really bland and boring. Their chemistry wasn't as smoking as I'd hoped.

I forget, too, sometimes. Her role there was just a generic, girlfriend role. It wasn't that memorable, I hate to say.

Claire was the most "normal" in Wedding Crashers, so maybe that's why she wasn't as memorable as some of the other more outlandish characters. The movie was pretty fun though.
