Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Struggling musician Peter Bretter (Jason Segel, How I Met Your Mother) has spent six years idolizing his girlfriend, television star Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell, Veronica Mars). He's the guy left holding her purse in paparazzi photos and accidentally omitted from acceptance award speeches. But his world is rocked when she dumps him and Peter finds himself alone. After an unsuccessful bout of womanizing and an on-the-job nervous breakdown, he sees that not having Sarah may just ruin his life. To clear his head, Peter takes an impulsive trip to Oahu, where he is confronted by his worst nightmare: his ex and her tragically hip new British-rocker boyfriend, Aldous (Russell Brand), are sharing his hotel. Now that Russell's on the IMDB list and is the only other one with a name, and we know he was riding horses with Kristen.. is he playing her new boyfriend? :look: because that'll just be weird. Although, seeing as Kristen is playing a TV star, I guess that'll be why she happened to meet some eccentric British dude with scary hair. |

Yep, they started filming a couple weeks ago. No idea when it'll be released though!
Last night I listened to another hour and 15 minute long Russell Brand podcast from this weekend - I hope you appreciate the lengths I'm going to to get info on this movie :lol: but he kinda just talked about himself, the horses, and the hot surfing instructor named Mike the entire time. Although, he did say that his character is an English rockstar, and at one point he has to serenade his girlfriend with a song called "Inside of You" heh. I really do hope he's playing Kristen's boyfriend now :lol: |

I'm really excited about this movie, mostly because I adore Mila Kunis, but I also love Kristen.
I hope they release more information soon, it seems like a good movie! :) |
Thanks for the thread! I'm not all that into romantic comedys, at first I thought the plot sounded a bit cliched and tired, not to mention I haven't heard of anyone else who's associated with the film. :P But Kristen is in it, and I'm sure she'll make it good. Kristen will finally be able to flaunt her comedic skills in a movie. :D
