loved it it's like going back in time in film history i was so excited to see a silent film in theatres now!

sigh.. i dont know what to do with the jen board.. jen is stepping down.. i dont know why i get stuck with having to make the big decisions for the board.. its like a trail of ppl stepping down ever since i became mod there.. the thing was i only became mod because i started posting at the board since it was low count.. no one else was posting much besides the current mods at the time.. so in the end probably not thinking as clearly i decided to apply to mod.. its only surviving because i became mod.. and when i applied to mod/became mod.. i was still grieving over my mom's death cuz i became mod in july.. i dont know what to do now

can you mod it by yourself? how many people actually post at the board? might be time to close it... :/

we have maybe 3 posters but they dont post often.. and when they do they post in normally just ben and jen and violet and seraphina threads.. i dont know its the same thing when running a jen site.. the ppl seem to care only for candids.. especially when its family candids.. we get jen candids A LOT.. plus new baby affleck has everyone excited.. and its not like jen doesnt have new projects..

the thing is jen is one of the oldest boards on FF.. and i just feel like if we decide on closing the board.. its just a really sad discussion and kinda of cop out.. cuz it takes forever to campaign for a board on FF.. and lots of boards on FF now rely on the mods to post instead of the posters to keep the board alive.. soo yea ever since i became mod, it has really been living off the watches.. but like i said, ppl post.. they just dont stop by often.. and they limit the threads they post on.. they dont post in threads unless something new pops up.. no one likes to talk about old stuff it seems

i can mod by myself.. but i need someone beside me to help post so it will at least make the minimum.. its the same with zach.. if i didnt have you.. it maybe kinda dead.. but since rita is posting more over there.. its not as dead..

i just pmed them asking them to help post more but i dont know they still dont post in threads unless new stuff pops up.. honestly modding would be a lot easier without FF rules.. but since FF has rules, it really stresses me out.. so knowing jen has stepped down even though she didnt post that much cuz of her busy schedule.. i had lauren to help me with watches and stuff..

you just cant make ppl do what you want them to.. when we were still low count "probabtion" period last year.. it was only me modding for a bit before lindsay got appointed.. that was when i knew the board would be ok but when lindsay stepped down.. i didnt know where the board was gonna go anymore.. when the board got customized that was an achievement for me

i dont know thats why whenever one of my co mods says how they will still be around and stop by i know they are lying.. cuz that never happens.. i feel like im always truthful i still stop by heroes after i stepped down.. maybe partially cuz lauren is always there but still

well yeah i think if they are able to still be around then they wouldnt have to step down in the first place.. sigh.. modding is hard.. i dont know.. if the posters like it enough and want to have the board to continue posting at then i think they can manage to find the time and make an effort to post more.. if they dont care for it that much then theres no point in having the board.. any time you let a board go, it's hard but the only point of having one is for people to be able to discuss their celebs/show.. if they don't then why bother having it

yea modding use to be fun its just hard over there knowing the history of the board and what its been like for me helping saving it and then being unsure how long the board would last with co mods leaving left to right.. like i said, im not gonna ask or make a person apply.. i already told one of the mod managers before when i was talking to them.. i will see how it goes.. if there is an improvement with posting and stuff.. it is the holidays too.. i just know when we had less posters last year and i asked for their help.. they didnt really help..

i mean i could make the board all about my site.. but then that would be selfish lol a bit.. i mean i already have problems with the jen fanbase at my site too.. guh
