the comments that i've seen suggest general disinterest/dislike from the masses.
but i was kinda amused. not blown away... but definitely amused. :look:

it looks kind of funny, maybe like they're overdoing it with the dick jokes, at least in the trailer, but that's always better than the alternative. it's just a teaser trailer so there's nothing really about the plot aside from rooting out the dirty cops assignment, which from what dax described, sounds like what might draw people in because it's a comedy but he promises a lot of action too.

audiences are generally pretty wary of most reboots though

i never watched the original show so i have no clue how it holds up to that at all
but it looks like it would be a fun movie

i hadnt watched any Jump Street either and i loved the reboot movie. maybe this will hit that sweet spot too. the cast is seriously A+++

TFTNT!!!! I liked the trailer myself! Yeah, some of it was a tad stupid, but it's a COMEDY, not a cop show like the original was. Hopefully, once it comes out, it will get good word of mouth-and that'll be all it needs.
